Software development

IDEA-EG isn't only a conference and audio-visual company — we're also a software house. Our engineering team designs and ships the web platforms, mobile apps and business systems that run behind our own events, and we build the same calibre of software for outside clients: SaaS products, internal management tools, and automation that removes manual work.

What we build

Web, mobile and the systems in between

Web platforms & SaaS

Full-stack web applications built with modern frameworks (Next.js/React), role-based access, license and subscription management, and cloud data layers such as Supabase or Google Sheets for lean deployments.

Mobile applications

Customer-facing and internal mobile apps for iOS and Android, from field-operations tools to booking and management apps.

Business & management systems

Quotes and invoicing, inventory and warehouse tracking, HR and employee management, treasury and expense tracking, client document management — tailored ERPs for growing companies.

Automation & integrations

Google Apps Script backends, Telegram bot integrations, polling and webhook workflows, OCR pipelines and API integrations that connect the tools you already use.

Registration & event-tech platforms

The same registration systems, QR check-in and live-analytics tools that power our own conferences, adaptable to any event or membership use case.

Ongoing product support

We don't hand off and disappear — our team maintains, extends and supports what we build, the same way we support live events on the night of the show.

Why an events company builds software

We build software because our events demanded it first.

Managing 650+ events, live surgical broadcasts and multi-branch operations across Egypt and Saudi Arabia meant off-the-shelf tools weren't enough. So we built our own — registration platforms, control-room software, license-managed client portals, inventory and treasury systems. That same engineering discipline is now available to any business that needs software built and supported by a team that ships under real deadline pressure.
